Woke up this morning and it didn’t look good for the 2010 Concourse De Elegance down at Thanksgiving Point. By the time things got rolling it was still quite windy, but the rain had stopped and the sun came out. The new venue was the Thanksgiving Point gardens — a beautiful spot for some beautiful cars.
I’ll admit that while I loved the British cars in attendance, the day was stolen by an Italian and an American. The unrestored 1934 LaSalle was stunning, and the 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza was truly breathtaking. So if you missed this year’s show, you really missed something. Make a point to get down there next year!
