Sunday was a beautiful day for a drive in the mountains! The Fall Colour Tour though not brilliantly colored, was none the less a success and the perfect “official” last driving event of the season. We had 15 Brit-mobiles and 2 mother ships for the tour.
Rob Green had a minor radiator fluid leak with his MG Midget but that was the only side-of-the-road repair.
We stopped at the summits of both Emigration and East canyons to admire the views and then had a nice drive through the farm lands of Hennefer, Coalville and Echo. We finally stopped in Kamas for a late lunch, with some of the participants going to Dick’s Drive-In, Yoke, The Cutting Board and Roosters.
Lastly, we took Brown’s Canyon into Park City and went to the the St. Regis Hotel. We were all pretty excited about riding in Utah’s only “funicular tram” up the hill to the resort. It was very impressive.
I believe a good time was had by all. Check out the pictures if you couldn’t make it.

From the Zoo, east to Hennifer, south to Coalville, Wanship then out to Oakley and Kamas, up Brown’s Valley to Park City and the funicular to the top of Deer Valley and the St. Regis. What a drive, what a day. I’d do that anytime, any day again. Thanks, Duff. Great Day.
