May 14th was the annual Antelope Island run. It was a beautiful morning as we met in Kaysville at the O’Reilly auto parts. We had a wonderful turn out and it was great to see everyone! We travelled West and North out to Antelope Island. We travelled through the bug swarms over the causeway and out to the Ranch. We gathered for lunch and just started enjoying the company when the wind and weather picked up and put a hasty end to our gathering. Still, a good time was had by all!
Earlier in the day the folks coming up from the south met at the capitol where we became the star attraction! Shortly after we had gathered a large tour bus pulled up for picture opportunities. Once those folks saw our cars the fine capitol building was forgotten and our cars were swarmed by the tourists. A highlight of their tour, as far as we were all concerned.
