The unfortunate circumstances following the fire season bring some wonderful sunsets to the Wasatch front. For this impromptu drive we will meet at Hoppers brewpub at 6:45 for some delicious grub 🍽 & a pint ($2.50 pints on Sunday’s). For those of you that aren’t barley soup drinkers, Hoppers offers some great handcrafted root beer & cream soda or your choice of fountain drink. In traditional English fashion, I recommend the fish&chips! (Link to the full menu below)
Following dinner, we will venture east on 7200south turning left at the mouth of Big Cottonwood canyon (Wasatch Blvd.) then turn right just after the quarry continuing on Wasatch Blvd. until we will find the large parking area with a glorious view of the smoke filled valley & impending sunset.
Hoppers would appreciate an estimated headcount to ensure table availability. Please reply back to me if you plan to attend (& how many) so I can notify them Sunday morning of an estimated attendance. Last minute attendees are always welcome so if you forget to reply, no biggie, we’ll see you there.
