The British are coming! That could have been the cry when the BMCU showed up at the Cruise In. We started with two parking spaces in the lot, surrounded by some pretty awesome, customized Detroit iron. Then as the evening continued, more and more Britmobiles continued to arrive and push out the confining boundaries. We ended up with nine LBCs that stole the show. After all, our old, unique vehicles were the “unusual” ones in this gathering of customized cars. Robert’s red Sunbeam Alpine, parked next to a red Ferrari, attracted just as much attention. After all, you regularly see Ferraris on the roads around town, but how often do you see a Sunbeam Alpine?
Many of us had dinner in The Garage Grill, before heading out in various directions for a great, evening drive home.
If you weren’t there last night, you should make an effort to join us for our last scheduled event this season, the Fall Color Tour. Look for Color Tour info in another email posted before this one.
