It had been two, hot, months since we had a scheduled event, but that didn’t stop the 31 members in 19 vehicles. No sir. We enjoyed some of the most beautiful weather we’ve had in that time. The route that Pat set for us is one of our favorites; lots of twisty mountain roads. Rich W wins the patience award for dealing with a bicyclist running 10′ off his rear bumper, going downhill at 40-45 mph.
After exercising our LBCs, we exercised our hand-to-mouth skills by lunching on tasty BBQ at the Ogden Valley Smokehouse in Huntsville. A drawing was held for some prizes that were British car appropriate.
Afterward, we went our separate ways, with most folks caravaning with others heading similar directions.
