Saturday was the perfect storm: Excellent weather, wonderful temperatures, and people glad to be able to socialize again. If you weren’t out enjoying this ‘storm’ in your LBC, then you missed an awesome opportunity. For the BMCU Gary Meldrum Eureka Run, members drove in to the starting location from miles away. Weber County, Wasatch County, Utah County, Summit County, Davis County, and Salt Lake County, I believe were all represented.
The Mavrik station meeting location was overwhelmed with British Cars! It was really great to see all the smiling faces and the new members coming out to drive with us.
B’s restaurant in Eureka, although warned, was surprised at the tsunami of Britmobiles that filled their parking lot and spilled over into the service station next door. The workers in the restaurant were smiling the whole time we were there while filling our orders as fast as the kitchen could put out our orders.
Check the BMCU Facebook page for pictures of our first driving event of the season, coordinated by Cindy and Cory. Great Job!
Make sure you’ve marked your calendar for our next drive on April 09. It’s island time again and Antelope Island is the destination. Pat and Donna will be giving you more information as to where and when to meet.
An added attraction is that the Wasatch Jaguar Registry is going to come with us to the island. It’s always a treat when clubs get together for their drives.
