The BMCU St Patrick’s Day Brunch, last Sunday, was a great way to start our 2023 season. I’m not certain if the Black Sheep Bar & Grill will be the same. To quote the bar tender, Rawson, “Members just keep coming in!” And come in, they did. Basically, the BMCU took over the Black Sheep for our own private lunch. Tables were brought in from the back room and chairs were moved in from all around.
Bailee, our wait person was AWESOME. Orders were efficiently taken, delivered to the kitchen, and then served to the correct person with very little confusion, even though some were moving around and changing seats. And then, other patrons started to arrive, but Rawson and Bailee took it all in stride. Some of the other customers even help sing Happy Birthday to Paul Jaroch! The whole facility was changed into a happy place. Guess it had to be, since our string of zigzagging tables ran through the center of the Black Sheep, clear back to the bar.
The kitchen receives kudos for getting all the orders out in a reasonable fashion, considering that they were avalanched with all our brunch requests at pretty much the same time.
The sign-in book had at least 36 entries, so if you weren’t there, you missed a FUN TIME!
