Coming soon it will be time for the British Motor Club’s second driving event. The date is April 12th and the driving event is in the northern part of Utah. It is the Ogden Canyon/North Ogden Divide Run!!! The Eden Valley is a MUST SEE item that should be on your Bucket List. This drive incorporates some of Utah’s most scenic views and lovely winding roads. The Odgen Canyon Road is nice and twisty, but the North Ogden Divide Road is spectacular with awesome views. It’s almost as if you’re flying in a drone!
Here’s the information you need:
The Southern contingent and those in the SLC area will meet at the Speedway Station, 965 N. Beck St., in Salt Lake City, at 8:15 am for an 8:30am SHARP departure. The route will take us on Redwood Rd., Legacy Parkway, and US 89. NOTE: Maximum Speed will be 60 mph!
The Northern group will gather at Rainbow Gardens, 1851 Valley View Dr., at the mouth of Ogden Canyon at 9:30am. There the two groups will join together for the rest of the drive. Restrooms are available at the Rainbow Garden location.
With the two groups now one group, Kent will lead going up Ogden Canyon and into the Eden Valley and the North Ogden Divide. Like a Pied Piper, he will lead us to the lunch location which is Little Taste of Britian for the BEST Fish & Chips in Utah.
The weather forecast is currently for partly cloudy skies and temperatures of 74F. Sounds like perfect conditions for Britmobile driving.
If you missed the Eureka Run, don’t miss this one. These are some of the BEST, MOST AWESOME driving roads that are close to home.
OC/NOD = Ogden Canyon/North Ogden Divide 🙂
See you on the 12th!
