The hills are alive with colorful leaves and we’re going to take a close-up look this coming Saturday, Oct 4th. This year we’re driving the Nebo Loop from south to north.
We’ll meet at the Maverik station, 2023 Redwood Rd, Saratoga Springs, at 9:30am for a 10am departure.
BRING YOUR LUNCH AND WHAT YOU WANT TO DRINK! That’s right, the Color Tour this year is a picnic event. You’ve been asking for one and this and the next event are both picnic events.
The route will take us along the western edge of Utah Lake and then into Goshen where we’ll enjoy the winding beauty of Goshen Canyon, a BMCU Driver’s Favorite. Then on to Mona and Nephi and a Drain & Gain at the Chevron station at the intersection of 100 N and I-15. This would also be a good place to top up your gas tank and pick up anything you may have forgotten to pack for lunch.
We’ll continue east on U132 to the Nebo Loop Rd. intersection. Then have lunch at a destination TBD, after checking the number of vehicles that are participating and what the weather is doing.
After lunch the Nebo Loop Rd beckons our LBCs to enjoy a windy road to several scenic stops and awesome views.
We’ll drive, rain☔ or shine☀️ so come prepared for all conditions.👍
NOTE: This event is a PICNIC event so pack what you’d like to eat and drink along with folding chairs and/or a blanket.
