Our weather has gone crazy! One minute it’s 70+ F☀️ and the next minute it’s nearly snowing🌨 in the valley. This is certainly an indication that our good weather driving season is almost concluded.🙁
Every year, we celebrate the end of the BMCU season by getting everyone together one more time to sit down and enjoy a dinner together. This year is going to be a bit of a break with tradition and instead of going to a restaurant, we are having a Potluck Dinner! There are many advantages to this, not the least of which is that it will save you some money💲 to be used elsewhere. LBC?
The Season End Potluck Dinner will be held on Saturday, Nov 13th, at 6pm in the South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society church⛪, 6876 S. Highland Dr., Cottonwood Heights, UT. If you’ve been to our first of the season dinners, it is the same place we’ve come to enjoy.
What should you bring to the Potluck Dinner? Bring your favorite dish to pass. You know, something you really like and others would, also.
The BMCU will provide tables, chairs, plates, utensils,🍽 napkins, cups🥛, bowls (chili?) and electrical hook ups to keep the hot stuff hot. We also have access to a small kitchen. The parking🅿️ lot is paved and lit. Inside, there is an elevator if you’d rather not tackle the steps to the social room.
What’s left? The only thing left is for you to bring your dinner contribution when you arrive to “show up and have fun.” This event is sure hit the bullseye. 🎯
