Have a British car that you feel is not too dependable? Concerned about getting too far from home when you go for a Britmobile drive? Like to have people around who could help if you were in need? Shorter drives more appealing than going out for a couple of hours?
If you answered yes to any of the above, then the BMCU has a DEAL for you! Sept 5th, the Club will be celebrating Labor Day with a cruise down State St. The center of the SLC valley will come alive with British cars decorated in red, white and blue along with American flags flying from the vehicles.
The meeting place is in the north east PARKING LOT of the Utah State Capitol, 500 N East Capitol Blvd. Please do not use the angled, on street parking.
The time to gather is 10:30am for a 11am departure down the hill and onto State St. With cars decorated in Red, White and Blue and American flags flying, we’ll be having our own private parade! When we arrive in north Draper, 11400 South to be exact, the phalanx will turn right (west) onto 11400 South. After a short drive and crossing the mighty Jordan River, make another right turn (north) onto Riverfront Blvd. Approximately a mile later, with a successful navigation of the traffic circle, the JCW eating establishment will appear on the left side of the boulevard.
The proprietor has reserved parking for the BMCU behind his establishment, at 10660 S Riverfront Parkway.
Make certain that this event is on your calendar for the Labor Day weekend.
