British Field Day
Grander Than Ever
This year's British Field Day was a resounding success, by all quantitative and qualitative measures. Quantitatively, there were more vehicles shown (150), more paid attendees (nearly 1,000), and more charitable proceeds ($1,000 over last year).

The Utah British Bike Club turned out in force, displaying many fine bikes. One of the best examples, in the editors opinion was his bike. (shown) Qualitatively, it was lots of fun, with Mini's chasing Rovers chasing Loti (plural of Lotus) 'round the cones, and tall tales being swapped about Lucas semi-conductors, Whitworth crescent wrenches, and the cosmic import (yes, they are all imported) of positive ground ignition systems.

Sharon Forster, BFD Governess General, heartily thanks all exhibitionists (oops, exhibitors), attendees, and especially volunteers and sponsors for pushing this one Over The Top.

She promises a still grander event next year, including innovations such as a new, larger venue, and Sponsors Choice Trophies for cars or 'cycles that catch the eyes of our esteemed financial underwriters.
