Autojumble at Bailey's Service
It was a crisp fall Sunday morning on October 1 when tables, chairs and barbeque were set up for this season's second Autojumble at Bailey's Service in Murray. Some great stuff was for sale, including lots of MGB parts, some MG T-series parts, miscellaneous parts for other British marques, and even a blasting cabinet and a bike rack. At least three cars were also on sale. Coffee and pastries courtesy of Mike Bailey and Mark Bradakis helped open sleepy eyelids.
As the sun warmed the proceedings, folks trickled in, and some deals were struck. Items seen being packed in buyers cars included the blast cabinet and a luggage rack. Late morning the barbeque was declared ready, and Mark set up a delicious spread of Hoosier-que sandwiches, which turned out to be pulled pork, made from Boston butt pork shoulders. Beans, chips, pickles and drinks rounded out the spread. Yum!
Faces in the crowd included those of Mike Bailey, Mark Bradakis, Gary Lindstrom, John Progess, Steve Nelson, Dave and Carol Marks, Drew Frink, Terry D. Rees, Robert Labra, Rob Foye, Keri Bruce, Larry Farrington, and Michael and Mary Scoggins. Apologies if you stopped by and we missed you in the list.
