Meadowbrook Restorations

November 15th turned out to be a beautiful day, almost good enough for an actual drive. But it is November and we know better than to plan on good weather so we did the next best thing -- visited an awesome collection of cars owned by a local enthusiast.

DeWayne Ashmead was very gracious to let us (and a large number of friends) pay a visit to his stable of rare and literally one of a kind automobiles. I'm not sure if it was the great weather or the lure of getting a glimpse of this rarely seen collection that brought such a large turnout but there were probably nearly 50+ folks there to listen to DeWayne's interesting stories and historical facts about each of his cars.

Afterwards a number of us met up at PepperBelly's Restaurant for a delicious lunch and more history from DeWayne.
