So today, you’re planning your week and of course you need to be sure to plan on the big Saturday event “Drive the Spike” which you certainly don’t want to miss!
Information you ask?
- Who: You of course!!! and your LBC or whatever you wish to drive
- What: We are going to the Golden Spike Historic Site
- When: Saturday October 10th
Southern Folks: Meet at speedway gas station 965 Beck Street at 8:30am for a 9:00 am Departure. Roger will happily greet you to lead you North.
Northern Folks: Meet at Fresh Market 2044 South Harrison Blvd Ogden at 10:00 am for a 10:30 Departure
Where ?
Please note these details:
- It’s going to be a Picnic lunch at the Site so bring your Lunch or purchase it at the Fresh Market.
- It is 55 miles to the Spike so be sure that your gas tank is full as we leave Ogden. There is a gas station right in the store parking lot.
- Weather is looking great,so bring your SUNSCREEN! It’s pretty open space out there.
- This is a National Park Site so BRING YOU PARK PASS! or it’s $20 entrance
- Bring your Camera, the engines will be out and we will be seeing a demonstration. and we will also have a photo shoot of your car for those who wish at the site monument.
- As with all our events, we want to see you no matter what you’re driving this Saturday!
